Acts 17:11 tells us the Bereans were a mighty people that readily received God's Word. They were also known for their searching and studying of the Scriptures daily.

The Bereans at Bible Baptist Church are willing to teach, lead and care for those who are younger in Christ. These individuals strive to continue building our church in number, strength, love and faithfulness.  They have a heart filled with compassion and their goal is to encourage the faithfulness of the next generation.

Our Bereans love to tell their testimony of coming to Christ. They are willing to let you know what their life was before they met Christ, and the change He made after they met Christ. The vision of the Bereans is to help train the young Christians. They have the knowledge, from the Word of God, to answer their questions.

The Berean Class meets in the Rankin Memorial Chapel every Sunday at 10 am. We are currently studying "The Book of Mark" that our Pastor outlined and is leading us through.

Pathfinders

“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths,”

Jeremiah 6:16a

Nested between the Bereans and the Crusaders are the Pathfinders.

These are the individuals that are continuing to grow in the Grace of God, and are preparing to take the leadership roles of the Bereans. They continually strive to further their relationship with the Lord by learning from the Bereans, while also living a life of example for the Crusaders.

The Pathfinders meet every Sunday at 10 AM in the Rankin Memorial Chapel, and are currently studying, “The Book of Mark” as outlined by our Pastor.

Ecclesiastes 12:1a

"Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth,"

Our Christian young adults are vital to our church. They are the ones with the energy and stamina to carry out the work of our Lord.

We have a lot of good young men and women who truly love the Lord, and are excited and willing to serve Christ their Savior.

Come join the Crusader class as they study the Bible and fellowship together, sharing Christ with our lost world.

The Crusader Class meets the last Friday of every month for fellowship, food and games.

Bro. Travis is currently teaching a study our Pastor outlined on, "The Book of Mark".

Training teenagers not only for a life and a ministry, but a life worth living.

The purpose of the Bible Baptist Church youth ministry is to help equip our youth with the necessary tools from God's Word to lay the right foundation for the rest of their life. We must encourage our youth to help the entire family serve the Lord together. It is essential for the youth minister to walk with God and be willing to lead our youth down the path of righteousness, by following Christ's example.

Young people must be taught the clear commandments of God's Word. The Bible says in II Timothy 2:2, "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."

At Bible Baptist, the young people meet every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM followed by the Sunday morning worship service at 10:50 AM.

The 7th and 8th graders meet in one classroom while the 9th-12th graders meet in another.

The Young People’s Department is very active. The activities are filled with good, clean Christian fun and entertainment. Once or twice a month, after Sunday evening services, the young people meet in The Ploughe Family Center for the activity that has been planned.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it

Proverbs 22:6

The heart, desire, and passion of Bible Baptist is to see our children grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Bible Baptist is committed to teaching God's Word in fun and exciting ways. Every Sunday at 10:00 AM, children are taught lessons taken directly from God's Word. Each teacher encourages their children to apply the teachings from the Bible to their daily lives. We want our children to grow in the Word of God, in their faith, and come to know Christ as their personal Savior.

Our Junior departments teach students from the 4th-6th grades. They meet every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM in their departmental room and have their opening exercises. It is the same as the Primary Departments and last around 15 minutes. They will dismiss into classes based on their grade and learn from God's word, by qualified Christian men and women. The joy of breaking into classes, is that they can take their time teaching at the pace of the children, and stop to answer questions as they ask.

The Primary Boys and Girls Department consist of 1st-3rd graders. They each meet in a department room to have their opening exercises which consist of: singing, prayer, memory verses and an offering. After they dismiss, they will go, by grade level, to their own classes to be taught on their level by qualified Christian men and women.

The Primary Departments on up are afforded the opportunity to worship God with their families in the Sanctuary.

Beginners

Starting around 4 years old, they move to the Beginners class. In the Beginners class, they build on the foundations laid in Cradle Roll. They continue to learn Bible truths and start learning new songs and memory verses, all of this pointing to their need of a Savior.

Cradle Roll

From the age of 18 months to the start of their preschool years is where the teachings really begin. In Cradle Roll, they start learning those songs we all learned as kids, such as: "Jesus Loves Me", "The Bible", "The Fishers of Men', "The Wise Men", and many more along with teachings from the Bible. Through the use of pictures, flannelgraphs, and activities, our children begin their knowledge of these precious Bible Lessons.

The excitement of a new baby brings a great responsibility. We see the necessity to not only consider the physical needs of a child, but their spiritual one as well.

We believe that it is important to have a child in church from their precious beginning.

While worshipping here at Bible Baptist, your babies will be cared for by spiritual, dedicated mothers, who will lovingly attend for your child. We realize the importance of a secure, clean nursery and a very qualified staff.
